This page describes the Grace Each Day iPhone, iPad and browser beta. We are an independent app, not affiliated with Living Stream Ministry.
Your account
You can keep a guest reading space or sign in. Google sign-in is available on the web and iPhone; Apple sign-in is configured in the iPhone beta and is still being tested. Apple sign-in is not yet available on the website. Online Bible reading requires sign-in unless the native app has a personal authorized publisher connection. When you sign in, the provider may share your account identifier, name, email address and basic profile metadata. Supabase provides authentication and stores the account information. Apple may provide a private relay email address. Google sign-in requests basic identity information, not access to your Gmail messages.
The native app stores your session in Keychain. The web app stores its session in this browser’s local storage. Sign out on shared computers. You can edit your display name or sign out from Profile. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not use account information for advertising.
Your reading and notes
Reading history, reflections, prayer notes, reminder choices and reading preferences are stored on your device. Signed-in accounts and the guest profile have separate reading spaces. When you turn on Sync reading & notes, this signed-in account’s reading history, reflections, prayer notes, reading plan and habit timezone are stored in Supabase so they can appear on your other devices. Sync is off by default on each device. Once you enable it, changes sync automatically while you use the app with an internet connection. Guest notes are never automatically imported. Reminders and appearance preferences remain local. Alternate simultaneous note edits are preserved. Pausing sync keeps the existing cloud copy; account deletion removes it. Your device’s own backup settings may affect copies of local app data.
Private notes and Scripture are not sent to an AI service. Prayer-card sharing uses the app’s original prayer prompts; it does not include your private notes or Recovery Version text. Content you choose to share is handled by the destination app under its own policy.
Online Bible access
Signed-in readers can retrieve Bible text through our authenticated Supabase gateway, which keeps the publisher credential on the server and limits requests. The native app can also use an authorized personal connection stored in Keychain. Bible references and search terms are sent through this gateway to LSM (or directly with a personal native connection), together with authentication and network information needed to fulfill the request. Returned Bible text is held temporarily for reading and is not saved for offline use. See LSM’s API terms.
Service operations
Vercel hosts this website. Apple, Google, Supabase, Vercel and the Bible service process the information necessary to operate their services. This can include technical request information such as IP addresses and service logs. Their retention and security practices also apply. See Vercel’s privacy policy, Supabase’s privacy policy, Google’s privacy policy, and Apple’s privacy policy.
Deleting your account
In the iPhone app, open Profile → Delete account and verify the same Apple or Google account. After the server confirms deletion, the app removes the online account, its synced readings and notes, and that profile’s readings and notes on this device. Guest readings are kept separately. Signing out does not delete local notes. Copies on another device or in a device backup are not remotely erased by this app.
If you only use the website, you can request account deletion by emailing support@graceeachday.com. We will verify account ownership before acting on the request. Do not send your password or sign-in codes.
Questions and updates
Contact support@graceeachday.com or visit the support page. We will update this policy if the app’s data handling changes, including changes to account sync or the Bible service.
